What drawing details are needed for a welded assembly? +

Please provide assembly drawings, weld symbols, material grade, thickness, critical dimensions, tolerance notes, surface finish, expected quantity and any fixture or inspection requirements.

How do you control welding distortion and fit-up? +

Welding fixtures, tack sequence, heat input control and intermediate dimensional checks are used to reduce distortion and keep brackets, frames and assemblies aligned with the drawing.

How are weld quality and dimensions inspected? +
