Wire EDM is ideal when conventional CNC machining services cannot achieve the required profile accuracy, sharp corners, material hardness or thin-wall stability. When should I choose Wire EDM instead of CNC milling?+

Choose Wire EDM when the part needs sharp internal corners, complex 2D profiles, hardened material cutting, thin features or profile accuracy that is difficult for milling cutters.

Can Wire EDM create sharp internal corners?+

Wire EDM can create much sharper internal profiles than many milling operations, although the minimum corner radius depends on wire diameter, material, thickness and drawing requirements.
